Welcome to Cocker And English Springer Spaniel Rescue

We are a small group of Cocker and English Springer Spaniel enthusiasts, who, with a small band of volunteers raise funds to help us find new “forever” homes for dogs placed in our care.

We aim to care for and re-home as many un-wanted, stray or neglected Spaniels as we can as well as proving advice and support to current owners.

As of the 26th August 2010, CAESSR is a Registered Charity (Number 1137589).

Neglected Springers have now found new homes

We had of a group of dogs entrusted to us following legal rescue from the most appalling conditions. Their entire life had been tethered in dirty kennels, they had never known any sort of reasonable life or love.

When they came into our hands they were almost unrecognisable as Spaniels , matted, smelly, sores, fleas, worms, some very ill. Unfortunately one died, three needed urgent surgery. Thanks to the care and dedication of the kennel team and local vet, they were prepared for their forever homes.
