Hello there, we are Allison and Nicholas Hillier. We lost our 15 year old Jack Russell/Collie cross back on 5th of Jan this year.

We are looking to adopt a cocker spaniel from the age of about 6 months upwards. We are very experienced dog owners and have both always had dogs. My husband grew up with Springers who were pets first but also working dogs, wheras, my dogs were usually mongrals. We are keen to have a bitch this time as we have always had dogs. We are willing to travel to meet any potential new member of our family. We own our own home with a fully enclosed 6ft fense. My husband has the local butcher shop and works full time (he is also a retained fire-fighter with the local fireservice). I work partime in social housing. Our children are now grown up and have left home. We do have x2 grandchildren that visit on Fridays but other than that, our life has always, and will always revolve around our dog. Living on the outskirts of the New Forest, we have lots of wonderful places to walk. Hopefully you are not bored yet with my essay, sorry it is so long!

Hi yes we have. We are due to have a home visit next Tues during the afternoon. We are so looking forward to offering our home to a new dog. Fingers crossed the right dog will find its way in to our hearts, home and family.
