Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month

LEO

LEO

Leo is a 13 month old black working cocker spaniel. He has been surrendered through no fault of his own. His first owners were unable to provide him the exercise and stimulation a young dog needs. He went to a second temporary home where he was much loved but they were unable to keep him long term. Despite having a lot of change in a short time, he is a very happy dog who is used to cats and dogs.
Leo is very inquisitive and loves long walks. He can pull to start, and walks better on a figure of 8 lead. He recalls to whistle or "with me"...but can be distracted by birds!
He has been castrated and is crate trained (for his own benefit because he will steal anything not nailed down!).
An experienced owner with the time to invest in his continued training will be rewarded with a wonderful and faithful dog.

HAPPY FEET

HAPPY FEET

Happy Feet is almost 7 years old and is a lemon & white working type cocker spaniel. She needs a new home as her owner has mobility problems and can't give her the life that she deserves. Happy Feet is used to visiting children. She lives with another dog and a cat but she loves her food and will try to eat theirs as well. She is good on and off the lead but is a little timid of other large dogs. She travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods.

MILLIE

MILLIE

Millie is a 5 year old liver & white springer. Her owner has recently moved house and doesn't have a safe secure garden for her. She hasn't lived with children or with another dog or cat. She likes to sleep on the sofa and can be left home alone for a few hours. She will bark when first left and then settles on the sofa. Millie pulls on the lead but is better when using a figure of eight lead when it is also placed over her nose. Her owner has never had the confidence to let her off the lead - so she will need some training. She can retrieve a ball. She travels well in the car but can bark at cyclists and pedestrians.
