Hello Di and John
Buster is just a lovely old boy. We are totally in love with him. He has settled down so well taking into account how poorly he has been. He’s great with us, with other dogs, with a crowd in the house and children stroking him (with us keeping a watchful eye), but he has taken everything in his stride. He’s been bathed, showered, had the hair drier on him and not stressed about anything.

He’s now starting to get into a routine with food and going to the toilet, yesterday was the first day we had anything solid come out of him!! To deal with all that and settle down somewhere new just shows how much of a lovely old gentleman he is. Yes, he does pull on the lead, but if he really was kept in a crate for some years I don’t blame him at all. We have a harness that clips on the front of him and it pulls him around if he pulls so that helps and he is starting to learn not to pull so much.
I’ve attached a few photos of him settling in – if there is anything we can do for your web site in relation to rehoming an old boy then please let me know.
Take care and good luck in everything you do.
Su and Will and Buster.
