Hiya all at Caessr!
Just a quick update about our wonderful Basil - adopted from you last July!!
I sent an e-mail not long after we adopted him letting you know what an irreplaceable member of the family he had become!! Well - nothing's changed in that respect except to say that we just couldn't imagine life without him!!
Attached photo of Basil enjoying one of his many visits to Pembrokeshire splashing in the sea !!
Once again - thank you so much for Basil and for all you do!!

Hi Ian
All's OK with Coco and he's now settled in well. He still has separation issues and I doubt if these will ever be resolved. He just doesn't like being alone. We have to crate him up at night and at other times if we're both going out - something we now try to avoid.
He's now much better with other dogs and will sit quietly with those he's become used to. I took him beating at a local shoot last month and he took to it straight away. He would wait for my command then be off into the bushes and brambles putting the pheasants up as if he was born to it. We'll certainly be doing it on a regular basis again next season.
Best wishes to you all at CAESSR
Bruce
Dear Ian,
Just thought I would update you on Izzy's progress as it has been 15 months since we took her home. As you can see she is still as cheeky as ever pinching my hat !! And so pleased with herself!!
In September we took her to the Gower which was a week of running on beaches, chasing seagulls and jumping in the sea. We all loved every minute of it and having never been to that part of Wales before it really is the most spectacular area of the country and dogs where welcome on most of the beaches. In a few weeks we are off to Cornwall for more of the same I suspect.
Izzy is still off lead in certain parks now but I do suspect that her recall will always be a work in progress lol when the wild life is about, she only chased the pheasants for 2 hours before coming back on, new years day. We have learnt that she does come back eventually!! We have joined a group of Sprocker owners from surrounding area, Who meet once a month to walk the dogs together, which is great fun, on the last walk there must have been 20 spaniels ranging from 5 months old to about 6 years ( yes it was madness at its best ) but having said that there was not a bark or growl for the 2 hours we where all together just showing what a good natured dogs spaniels are, they all just got along.
The pictures below are Izzy and family lol, the Gower, and Izzy and Bob

In the November we where offered the chance to rescue a 5 month old working cocker called Bob as his owner had just been diagnosed with Parkinson's so we took the brave step of becoming a 2 dog household. Izzy and Bob get along so well, they play together all the time both in doors and out. I was really concerned about Izzy being put out by Bobs arrival, but again her kind nature showed though plus if you give him mummy's socks he's the one that gets told off!!!lol (yes she does do that) As Izzy has such a kind and caring nature and she just adores people, particularly children I am having her assessed to be a P.A.T. dog as we live very close to the hospital here. We got a month to work on her lose lead walking. So please wish us luck................................ .
Hope everything is well with you all in stoke and thank you once again for Izzy, she really is a treasure
Love from Vicki and Steve
Hi Di and John
We wanted to write and let you know that Marley has settled in really well.
He is an absolute dream. He loves our children and our children love him so much already. He is a little live wire and is keeping us on our toes with all the things he keeps stealing but he does give us them back what ever he has stolen. He is sleeping and eating well and travelled well in the car when we took him for a walk up Cannock Chase.
We feel very very lucky to have Marley as part of our family and can't thank you enough for contacting us as about Marley. The kids loved him as soon as they saw him and we did too!
I will forward some pictures to you in the next few days
Thanks again
Lynne Ste Katie and Jude
Hello
Just thought you'd like to know I'm having a great time. I still enjoy chasing birds on walks but I am very calm around cats and hens - they are so boring and won't play at all.
I love a quick swim when I have the chance. I ran a lot on the beach and played with lots of dogs today, so need an early night now.

I'm getting pretty mischievous in the house now I'm a teenager, so Mum's taking us back to classes soon.
It'll be more fun when the weathers better, as we can be outside working together then. My favourite game is 'find the ball in the house' and I like fetch games too.
I've quite a few dog friends in the village now including 2 black cocker spaniels. They like the same games as me.
