Good morning,
I thought I would let you know how Isla is getting on.
She has settled down very well and seems very happy here in Carterton, she loves her trips to the country park to play ball and chase with the other dogs that she meets there.
Isla is still a little nervous when she first meets other people but soon comes round (especially if they have a small treat in their pocket), she has been eating well since she came to live with us and did not go off her food at all in the early days. She was very good when we took her to the vet to have her stitches out and the vet was very pleased with her.
From our point of view we have the most beautifull girl, she is so well behaved and such fun to have around.....Isla has been trained very well by her previous owners and she is a joy to take out.
I would just like to thank all at Caessr for your help and kindness
and congratulate you on the wonderfull work that you do.
Kind regards
Sue, Gwyn and Gareth
And of course Isla.
Hi Ian and Di,
We have had Jimbob for a year now and thought I'd send a quick update. He is such a happy lively dog despite being 13 now, and is a delight to live with. He follows me everywhere and is loved by the whole family.
We are so grateful we had the chance to rehome him, and look forward to having his page open on the calendar next month! Thank you for all the good work you do, so many happy dogs as a result!
Shirley xx
Dear John,
We certainly have found the most affectionate, loving dog imaginable. Thanks so much to you all. He is totally wonderful with our not quite three years grand-
daughter. When she last came to stay, Georgia decided she was going to be in charge of feeding. We’ve always asked dogs to sit and stay on the kitchen doormat while we get the food ready, and then say Go after the bowl goes on the floor. It was really touching to see Fudge doing all this for Georgia, though he did look a bit surprised the first time !
His recall is getting really good, though it is a bit unnerving to see him galloping towards us at what seems 100mph. We just stand and hope he will put the brakes on, or swerve. So far, so good.
Fudge is a total thief. Because he is so tall, he can reach anywhere on the worktops, so there has been a certain amount of rearrangement in the kitchen. On Sunday, Andy was carving beef, put some on a plate, which I saw him do, turned our backs for a second, and there was an empty plate, and a very happy dog. He has also developed a taste for bananas, so the banana tree is now relocated.
He can be a bit of a bully with smaller dogs, but we’re working on that. He is also very barky, but if we can get to him before he goes into a frenzy, and say Shush is Good, he does respond.
We had to take him to the vets a couple of months ago, because of a nasty abscess on his back. The vet reckoned he’d been in some thick undergrowth, and got stabbed by a very pointed branch. Anyway, two courses of antibiotics, and he was good as new.
He is now stretched out on his favourite armchair, sound asleep, not a care in the world.
Thank you again.
Sheila and Andy
Dear both,
I can't believe it's been over a year since Monty came home! I meant to drop you a line on his birthday so forgive the slight delay.

He continues to enjoy life and has developed a taste for James Wellbeloved treats, often going to criminal lengths to obtain them from high shelves! A real change from his first few days when i had to hand feed him ham because he had lost his appetite.
I have now passed my driving test and so we drive to a nearby wood with a lovely river, in which he and Spud love paddling. He really is a delightful little boy and I feel so lucky that we found each other through you. Thank you!
Hope all is well with you and everyone at CAESSR.
Best
Helen, Spud and Monty xx
Dear Di, Ian and John,
Thank you all so much for trusting us with the adoption of Monty. He has settled in really well especially after his hair cut which seems to have unleashed the puppy in him! He is such a good boy. We love him to bits : )

As discussed with Di, I have attached some photographs of Monty with his new brother and sister having fun together, which hopefully somehow Brian can see how he is.
We'll keep you updated as to how he is getting along.
Best wishes,
Helen & Mick xx
Hi Ian & Diane
Thank you for the photos of Rolo. I have attached some not very good photos we have taken of Rolo. We will send some more when we go to the boat.

Rolo has settled well and has calmed down (a little) everybody loves him. He is good with other dogs, usually runs away from them and hides behind us - he doesn't go far without checking we are still there.
He sleeps well in his dog bed at night.
Regards
Jennifer
Dear John
We have put together a few photos for Kate and Mike to say Thank You from us.
Sebbie is wonderful, and such a gentle boy. He comes to work with me and either lies on my feet waiting for my every move ( we are working on this as he gets anxious if left) or regularly goes around the office checking to find out if anyone has anything tasty for him to eat!

He loves his walks and is generally very good apart from when he sees pheasants or rabbits..and then has lots of fun chasing, we are left standing, despairing and waiting for the return of a bedraggled Seb!
Seb has been on lots of trips, and has had some great fun times in Norfolk, Cornwall, and visiting family in Shropshire as well as lovely outings here in Oxfordshire.
Seb has made a few friends in our village, but sometimes gets nervous when he meets other dogs in open spaces, so we are working on this as well.
Thank You again for the lovely addition to our family.

Hi John, Di, and all at CAESSR
It’s me, Boo (was Boosh) checking in after four years in my forever home and wishing you all well for 2017.

I’m still having a lovely time in my forever home although Mum and Dad won’t relent and let me sleep on their bed, but I’m still working on it. However, I now own the rest of the house and Mum and Dad have finally realised the position I hold (see photograph and writing on cushion) although Dad tells everyone he is the boss, but I know different.
I still see Dora (Cocker Spaniel) just about every day and we also have a new member of the family in the shape of Mum and Dad’s 11 month old grandson coming to visit. I’ll soon have him trained to give me food.
So, as you can see, I still continue to enjoy my time in my forever home and I would, again, like to thank everyone at CAESSR who worked so hard to find me such a loving family to live with.
Boo
