Hi all
I just thought I’d let you all know that Meg is home and is being a little superstar.
She slept straight through last night in her own basket. She’s still very nervous but is learning to trust us.

We’ve still got a long way to go with her lead training but she is letting us know when she wants to go out to do her business.
The boys are being patient with her and letting her do things at her own pace.
Thank you all for allowing us to be her forever home.

Dear Di, Ian and John
We just wanted to give you an update after our first week since picking up Gunner.
He's a truly delightful dog and an absolute credit to his previous owners. It must have been incredibly difficult for them to give him up, but we'd like you to let them know that he seems to have settled in here very well and to be enjoying his new surroundings. He's a joy to have around - always up for a walk or a mad dash around in the garden, and so far has been happy enough to be on the extendable lead when out and about (circling back to trot alongside us from time to time, before heading off after another scent). I think he's sad that the cat doesn't want to play, but seems to have accepted that she's rather an elderly lady and now leaves her alone.
He really is very loving and has become attached already to the whole family. He sometimes whimpers a little when one of us goes out, but soon settles, and hopefully will be fine when we eventually leave him on his own for a while. (As I work from home, that shouldn't be necessary often or for long, and as he travels so well in the car and is so good with other people and dogs, he'll probably be able to come with us most of the time.)

Our only issues so far have been his boisterousness near the chickens (no malice, just curiosity mixed with bounciness has caused the odd kerfuffle!) and the fact that we'd rather not have him on the sofa for the time being (he needs to know that he can't just jump on it when we visit my parents... He's gradually learning, though I suspect he'll be the same as our previous spaniel - sneak on when we're out of the room, then hop back off when we come back, all innocent... all good fun). Different rules in different houses - he seems to have adapted to us really well in general, and his training was obviously very good - he's so well-mannered in every situation we've been in so far. He has bags of energy, but he also knows when to be calm, which is fantastic - we couldn't have asked for a better dog, and count ourselves very lucky to have been able to offer him a home. Very many thanks to his previous owners for bringing him up so well - and to you for thinking we might be the right family for him when they unfortunately couldn't have him any longer.
Attached are a few photos of Gunner this week, the last few on a walk up on the moor. He loved it up there - and I suspect in the autumn, when it's all golden and he's off the lead, we're going to have a few problems keeping track of him! Lucky for us he seems to want to keep us close... at the moment anyway!
With many thanks again and best wishes
Carol, Alistair, Maya, Grace, Kolo the cat, and of course Gunner
Good afternoon Ian,
Please find attached a picture of Daisy who came to you with another dog in Aug/Sept 2016.
I thought that you would like to know that despite a couple of quite serious operations she is in excellent health and for an 11 year old really very fit. One of the happiest and easy going dogs we've ever had.
The photo really doesn't do her justice but you know what its like trying to get a spaniel to sit still.
My regards to Di and John

Hi Ian & Di

Thank you so much for allowing us to foster Honey - she is the most beautiful, adorable dog I've ever met!
She's been with us for nearly a week now and even though she's nearly 13, she settled into our routines within hours of coming home. She gets on so well with our dogs and even the cat! Feels like she's always been here.
I've attached some photos for you (Honey is on the left in the first two photos. Bailey & Honey look so similar ... She could easily have been Bailey's mum!) I absolutely love the last photo - she looks so happy and beautiful.
Thanks again to you both
Regards
Lisa and Dan
