Hi John,
We have a new Dog!
Well not entirely but he has accepted us both (he was always Judy’s) but now he comes to me and plays, welcomes me when I come home and he is clearly settled in,
He still occasionally pops through the hedge but comes back on his own without being called!
AND he gets into the car without immediately trying to escape!
Its been 12 months hard work but he has now accepted this is his home!
Best regards
John
Hi Ian and Di,
I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how well Gemma has settled in, even though it's only been one day!
She's such a sweet little girl, she's getting on very well with Tammy and she has just slotted in!
We love her already, she really is a little' gem'.
Kind regards
Kath and Martin
Update on Monty,
First and foremost he is happy in himself. He follows me everywhere and I am getting him used to accompanying me whenever I go out in the car. His behaviour in the car is exemplary.
10 out of 10 for nearly every aspect of his behaviour. He is very friendly, biddable and trainable. He has settled into life here as though he has always lived here. I have not yet let him off the lead in open spaces but that will happen soon. Hopefully he will come back on recall.
Perfection is near impossible. He is a terror in the vets and he is a thief. We might not be able to train out the former but are working hard on the latter
Regards
Keith
Hi Di, John & Ian
Rafi (Angel) turned one yesterday, so I thought I’d give you a little update.
Rafi has settled in really well; she’s confident, playful and also calm for a puppy. She is now house trained and will ask to go out to toilet.
Rafi and Yozi (our old retired Guide Dog mum) have become inseparable. They share a bed together and will snuggled up at any opportunity.

Rafi joins me in some therapy sessions and she’s a star ⭐️ especially when working with children. My 8 year old granddaughter adores her… they have a special bond.
We’re taking her to training classes with an ex Guide Dog trainer and she’s responding beautifully. Her recall when we’re out on long walks is amazing, both on the whistle and gestures.
She hasn’t come into season yet; we’re expecting it any time now. We’ll be booking for her to be spayed as soon as possible after her season. Will let you know.
Will send you a couple more photos in a separate email.
Take care. Best wishes
