Hi John,

As you can see from the pictures someones already well and truly made himself at home. He seems very content and settled at the moment. We are just having a chilled out day with a few games of ball in the garden then saving our walk for this evening.

Hope you are well.

Kind regards

Callie

Hi John

I have been checking your website regularly hoping to read an update on Bailey and today I read the letter from Alan and Kay and saw a photograph of Bailey and Molly.

I have cried but the tears were mixed, more relief and happiness than sadness.

Bailey sounds as if he’s having a fantastic time and he will be in his element with all of that open space and different scents to go on!

I can’t thank you and your team enough for finding him such a perfect home. I did expect to see him on the "Dogs Needing Homes" page but you obviously had someone in mind perfect for Bailey.

Please express my deepest heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Alan and Kay, they are a wonderful couple.

Hi John, Di and Ian,

It has been four weeks now since I came to my new home in Lincolnshire, and must say I am enjoying it immensely.

My new friend Molly, who was adopted from you last year, has been teaching me the ropes and we both have these humans of ours wrapped round our little paws. We get fed regularly, we both have beds but prefer to sleep where we want and I must say I enjoy Mum and Dad’s company all the time, they take Me and Molly everywhere.

Dad takes us out daily for walks across the fields and I have seen all sorts of funny animals, like, rabbits, hares, pheasants, and the other day I came across some goats, now there funny things, I didn’t know whether to go and sniff them or run away, so I hid behind Dad.

We went for a ride to Mum and Dad’s summer home last Friday, I think they said it’s in Norfolk, wherever that is. Nice part of the country though, good walks on cliff top and by sea. Unfortunately due to this nasty virus thingy we have got to stay at home now for the foreseeable future.

Yesterday (March 24th) we went to a place called Winglands and walked along the sea bank to the Wash. Mum and Dad said a Peter Scott (great and respected Ornithologist) lived there, that’s probably why there were so many birds, duck and geese about.

We both came home quite worn out, and fell asleep in the afternoon sun, until tea time.

Anyway I could go on for ages, but I think that’s enough for now.

Thank you for finding us a new home.

Love and Lick’s Bailey and Molly x
(Mustn’t forget the human’s Alan and Kay)

Hi Di
Benji is settling in very well in his new home, enjoying his large garden. He has been out for lots of walks with Tyson and he is a very happy and affectionate dog. All of our friends and family love him.

We have started to train him with recall, sit, stay and walking him on a lead. He is learning very well but recall might take a bit longer. He will learn a lot from Tyson.

Benji loves our big garden, he wasn’t sure of the river at first but now loves going in. We are going on holiday to Scotland at Easter to see our daughter who is at St. Andrews university. We will be staying in a little cottage that’s dog friendly. It will be a real adventure for Tyson and Benji and the beach is very near. We also plan to take them camping to south Wales. In August we are going to north Wales and we will stay in a dog friendly B and B. I’ll send more pictures in the future.

Regards

Fay and Jim.

Hi Ian, John, Di and all at CAESSR,

It’s been a year to the day since we adopted Winston and I thought I’d just put pen to paper to let you know how we all are, and as you can see from the photos, life is pretty good.

Winn (as we call him now - it’s easier to yell) is completely settled in and chilled in his home. Life is sorted. He has lots of walks, good food and loads of mates. He really is a super friendly chap with everyone he meets who hasn’t a care in the world apart when he gets his next biscuit, and he gets his own way a lot.

Yes he was a challenge at the start but with perseverance and some helpful advice from Karen about some aspects of his behaviour we got him sorted, or he sorted us!

All I can say is thanks for letting him adopt us, and here’s to many more enjoyable years together.

Andrew, Amanda, and Winn
