Hi John.

Hope you and Pat are okay, time fly by it's 3yrs today when we picked our forever jerry up from you. Tomorrow he will be 13 and still have the energy of a puppy, and still look after mother he is such soul mate for her.
A couple of pictures: one on Mother's chair and one laying by her bed.

Hi Di,
We are delighted with the way that Bonham has settled into family life and has enthusiastically become part of everyday life. His love for life, walks (including swims!) and people makes every walk a pleasure.
Our thanks to his first family who gave him such wonderful manners, sensitivity to people and other dogs and excellent training that mean that he has made an immediate positive impression with everyone he meets. He was clearly well loved and is secure with anyone he meets.
With fields and woodland adjoining his new home he loves chasing rabbits and anything that flies, but returns when called which makes him a wonderful companion.
Regards,
Mark and Linda
Hi Ian,
Thanks for your letter regarding our forever friend Jerry.
Just an update as requested, on the 30th April we will of had him 3 years. Loyal and faithful friend to us all (but especially Mother in law) as she's registered blind.

Hi John,
Just a quick note to let you know that we all arrived home without incident last night! Our new member seems to respond to "Dick" better than anything, - although respond may not be the right word at the moment !!!
Dick travels well. For the first 70 miles he whined whilst pacing about in the back of the car, then I put the radio on for the news and amazingly, he quietened down. I left the radio on with some music and he lay down and was quiet for most of the rest of the journey! Obviously, he's been used to music in the car.
He's crafty !!! I've discovered that Dick does know a few commands, but decides himself whether he wants to respond or not. The offer of food speaks volumes! When he's called, the eyes raise with a sideways glance to see what's on offer. If there's nothing, he'll carry on with what he's doing. Although, I do think his ear infection is a good excuse at the moment because he sometimes genuinely, doesn't hear everything! Healing time will make him into a good listener.
As far as commands go, he knows (aurally), "sit", "stay", "lie down", and "here" ..... all when he wants to !!!
He slept well and quietly last night and was still asleep in his box this morning. Needless to say that Dick has settled in exceptionally well and quickly. Give it a few days for him to go through the "try-ons" and he'll be completely at home. He certainly knows who feeds him and follows Ann around all the time.
We'll speak shortly, but in the meantime, all looks well.
Many thanks,
John.
Hello all,
We have found a lovely home here in Birmingham. Its great to be back with a loving family.
We get plenty of exercise there is a park just 500 yards away and then we get to go to the Clent or Licky Hills which are about ten minutes in the car. Woodgate Country Park has a walk that follows a lovely clean stream and we can have a paddle.
Our new Mom & Dad have loads of time to be with us and love us very much they say they were lucky to get two such well behaved dogs.
Love
Lucy and Monty
