Dear All

It's been nearly 6 months since we adopted Tia and she's the most beautiful dog we could have wished for.

She loves her walks, especially when there's lots of things to sniff at! She's good off the lead and everyone we meet says how gorgeous she is with her long eyelashes and bushy eyebrows. She's such good company, very affectionate and definitely a Mummy's girl!

We would like to thank her previous owners for doing such a good job, she's in top condition and can assure them that she couldn't be loved more

Regards

Hi Ian,

Jimmy and Louie (was Choo) have settled into their new routine really well, it is as if we have had them forever. Jimmy's paw seems to be getting better after two visits to the vet and as many courses of antibiotics, steroid cream, bathing in salt water and plenty of TLC. Their coats have grown a bit now and don't look so severe( as you can see from the included photos.

They love the local walks especially in the woods 400 metres from where we live. They also enjoy long walks on the Derbyshire Gritstone Edges so they are getting plenty of exercise, as are we, which is a good thing. They are little characters and wouldn't be without them.

Thanks for selecting us as their new owners they are lovely dogs.

Kindest regards

Hi Di,

Sorry for the delay in replying to your email I have been rather busy.

Billy is an amazing dog who has fit into my family from day one. I have worked with dogs for many years and I don't think I have ever met a dog like him. Everyone falls in love with him and he wins peoples affections quickly.

My daughter has had to deal with some difficult issues for a six year old, but Billy is her best friend and is always there for her and her for him. At times I wonder who gets who into trouble!

Billy is starting to learn new skills to help me live with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and several physical disabilities. He learns quickly and wants to please, controlling PTSD can be challenging but Billy knows when I need help and is always there wanting to help.

As I said Billy has settled in to our family and none of us could imagine him not being Billy and always looking to give and receive affection.

Hi,

Ruby is doing really well enjoying at least 2 walks daily and meeting several other dogs when we walk in our local wood. She also loves going to the beach and swimming in the sea.

Everyone knows Ruby and compliments on her good nature. She goes everywhere with us both on public transport, in the car and we have just got back from a boating trip on the Norfolk Broads. We also visit her home town of Grantham twice a year to attend my in laws grave, we used to live there.

I will send a photo.

Many Regards and thanks again for giving us such a lovely dog and companion.

Hello John and Di,

Just to let you know Biggy seems to have settled ok. He travelled well in the car, stretching out on the backseat and even sleeping some of the way back.

He made a big impression when we arrived home by jumping straight into the garden pond!! No harm done to him as it is only very shallow. The frogs might've had a fright though. He's now been bathed and had two meals which he devoured. As you can see, he's curled up having a snooze.

He met my boys from school and never batted an eye. He must be used to children.

My Lucie is also fine with her new room mate. Long may it continue.

Kind regards,

Hi Ian,

Apologies for the delay in reply, we have been really busy. Billy is okay, he is ace at catching squirrel. He loves his brother Brian and his mate Merlin but can be a nuisance when he meets other dogs. We have sought help from Jenny a dog trainer and Billy is coming on ace. Just having a bit of help with the basics has really focused him - well worth having the training.

The family love Billy bobs as they do Brian, every day he gets better behaved and calmer, it has took us over a year but now he is a super good.

Dear John and Di,

Just thought I would drop you a quick email to say that Scamp is settling in really really well.

He's a lovely old boy and is getting on with our dog Poppy brilliantly. I thought Id send you a photo of him playing in the garden to brighten your day just like he brightens up ours.

You do a wonderful job finding spaniel doggie babies new homes, thank you for letting us foster Scamp, he really is lovey.

Kind regards

Dear All

We have now had the pleasure of Charlie and Aled living with us for over two weeks. They has settled in very well although we have to be careful with Charlie when people visit us or he comes into contact with others. We believe he will alter with time and we have the patience to give him time to gain more confidence with everyone. He certainly loves toast and tea!

He gets on with the puppy Aled although we are watching them very carefully as we do not wish to have to part them due to fighting for toys, balls or being territorial to us.

Although not fully house trained, Aled has won us over and every one that has met him. He is getting along fine with Charlie and the two of them play well together so far. He is very lovable and cuddly dog.

Regards

Hi John,

We have just returned from a holiday in Scotland with Poppy (was Sparky). She has had a lovely time we have discovered that she can trawl a river with her head below water and one would assume eyes open for quite some time.

She now weighs 13k and is a lovely shape. She came to us weighing nearly 18k so she has done really well. She is a proper little Spaniel now with boundless energy. Everything is another exciting adventure to her. She is a pleasure to watch.

Hello Ian

Just a short note to tell you that Jimmy and Choo are settling in well. We have had them clipped out as their coats were very matted and have had to take Jimmy to the vets as he has very sore paws - I think it was due to having matted fur between his toes. He is now on a course of antibiotics and hopefully should be on the mend! We do intend to let their coats grow again so they won't look so strange!

They are enjoying their walks around our home and as soon as Jimmy's paws are better we intend to take them to the Peak District which is lovely walking country.

They are settling down to their new routine. They sleep together in our utility room, both seem to have adopted our old dogs bed! We have designated one of our settles as a 'dog settee' and as I write this both are snoozing there on John's knee prior to having their dinner.

They are such little characters, it's a joy to have them around. I have enclosed some photos for you to forward to their previous owners to reassure them that they are being well cared for.
