Hello Di and Ian
Seasons greetings, hope that you had a lovely Christmas

After 3 months Daisy’s paw has healed! It’s been quite traumatic and worrying that there was possibility of amputation but we made it.

With all the rain I’m restricting her field walks, as it flared up/split even after fairly short walks of 40 minutes a couple of weeks ago so at the moment we are pounding the road walks though there are grass verges and hedges for an hour. She is amazing, a lot happier to be active, despite trying to restrict her food she is somewhat chunkier but I.m sure she will shed a few pounds now, including me!

I sent you all the horrific photos so my heroine now has these paws, her left one was the ulcerated swollen affected one:

Best wishes

Sue

Belle Christmas

Hope you are both coping and keeping reasonably well. We are managing and keeping Belle busy and happy. She has lots of fuss with all the carers etc and still enjoys 3 walks a day and is very playful. Her favourite is going to dog friendly cafes especially if sausage is to be had!
All the best for 2024,
Ros, Brian and Belle x
