Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month
Sue is a 2 1/2 year old liver & white springer. She has come to CAESSR from a working gundog home as she needed a home as a pet. Sue has a lovely personality and is good with other dogs. She has been living in an outside kennel so will need to be house trained. She travels well in the car.
Belle is almost 18 months old and is a black working type cocker spaniel with a white tuft on her chest. She has already had two homes in her short life. Her last owner has back problems and couldn't give her the exercise she needs as Belle pulls a lot on the lead. She is a very busy, active dog who will need training. Belle is used to children and is brilliant with them. She is good with other dogs. She has cat experience but the cat was attacking her and pulling her ears. Belle can wee with excitement when meeting people or even when her owner returns home. She can be left for short periods but can sometimes howl. She travels well in the car. Belle may enjoy agility classes.
Bear is a 6 year old chocolate working type cocker with a white chest. His owner is disabled and can no longer walk him. He spends a lot of time in his crate - just being let out into the garden. Bear is good with a young grandchild. He is good with other dogs but is a bit unsocialized and has not lived with a cat. He walks quite well on the lead and apparently has good recall. He likes to play ball and to carry around his favourite toy. He will pinch socks and tea towels. Bear can be left home alone for a short period and he hasn't travelled much in a car.
Ollie is a 7 year old liver & white springer. He has lived in his home since a puppy. There are four children in the home and the youngest child is younger than Ollie. Recently, Ollie decided that he didn't want to come in from the garden and his owner grabbed his collar and was bitten on the hand. Ollie has never bitten before but because the family have a young child, they feel that he needs a new home. Ollie is quite submissive when meeting other dogs. He hasn't lived with a cat. He pulls on the lead. When off lead, his recall is good and he won't loose you. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods.
