Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month
Clancy is a 3 year old black and tan show type cocker. He needs a new home as his owner has sadly passed away. He may need to be the only dog in the home. Clancy is used to older children but hasn't lived with a cat. He is good on and off the lead. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone for a couple of hours. Clancy doesn't like to be in a crate. At kennels he is a lovely affectionate boy.
Gordon is approximately 8-10 years old and is a chocolate working type cocker spaniel. He has come to CAESSR as he was found wandering and as he was not microchipped, he couldn't be returned to his owner. Gordon seems to be a friendly dog. We don't know whether he has ever lived in a home. He is possibly not house trained, although he is clean in his kennel. Since coming to CAESSR we realise that he is deaf and he has had visits to the vet to treat ear infections. Gordon is looking for a foster home.
Zara is a 3 year old orange roan cocker spaniel. She needs a new home due to a change in family circumstances. Zara is used to children and has lived with another cocker spaniel. She hasn't lived with a cat. She has very good recall. She can be left home alone for a short period and she travels well in the car.
Zac is a 3 1/2 year old tricolour sable cocker spaniel. He has come to CAESSR due to a change in family circumstances. Zac can be quite nervous when meeting new people. You have to allow him to be comfortable with you before you pat him. He has lived with another dog and is used to older children. We are told that his recall is brilliant. He travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods.
Poppy is a 4 year old blue roan cocker spaniel. She needs a new home due to a change in family circumstances. Poppy is used to older children. She is good with other dogs but has no cat experience. She pulls on the lead and her recall may need more work. She travels well in the car and can be left home alone for short periods.
