Hi Ian,
I adopted Indie from you over 4 years ago, she was a blue roan cocker, she had to be adopted as her owner had to go into care and could no longer take care of her. Anyway, I am writing with sad news that Indie passed away on Saturday (06-10-2014), she was diagnosed with Pancreatitis not long after I got her and its been a under control for a long time, however, she's been poorly recently and she started having seizures and was struggling on Friday early hours into Saturday. My partner and I took her to the vets first thing on Saturday and knew it was time to let her go.
We are heartbroken as I am sure you will understand, but I wanted to say thank you for letting me adopt her, she was an amazing dog, full of personality, love, cuddles, snores and selective hearing when the fridge door opened! We are missing her terribly, she has left a huge Indie shaped hole. She is still here with us in spirit I'm sure.
Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to be part of her life, she was the most amazing dog
