Hi John and all at CAESSR
We are very sad to let you know that our gorgeous Gorgie passed away peacefully on Friday morning at the grand old age of 17 years, 1 month and 13 days.
Gorgie was adopted by ourselves on the 19th September 2011 from CAESSR after being surrendered by his previous owner.
Gorgie not only proved himself a valuable and much loved member of our family, but was a wonderful advocate of rescue dogs, especially older ones. He was a credit to his breed and colour. Although, we as a family are devastated by the loss of such a wonderful dog, our sadness is lessened by our gratefulness of being able to spend nearly four amazing years with him. We will love and remember him forever, and will always be eternally grateful to CAESSR for entrusting us with him.
