Back in October 2013, we visited the CAESSR kennels and brought home with us a treasure; an 8 year old chocolate working cocker spaniel called May. The plan was for her to be a companion for our black Labrador, Diesel. May took this on and much more; entertainer, companion, joker, visitor at a local retirement home, but most of all my confident and soul mate whilst I was having chemotherapy.
Today (22nd March 2019) we had to say our final “good night and sleep well” to our gorgeous girl. Old age finally took its toll on our little darling.
She will be sorely missed by us and our friends, but we thank CAESSR for matching us with May and to the gamekeeper who donated her to your organisation thereby giving us over five years of her retirement years.
Keep up the good work - all of your dogs deserve their forever home!
Much love,
Lin and Clive
