Dear all at CAESSR
We have just lost our wonderful family CAESSR cocker/cav dog Rocket .
We were his third owners yet had the joy of having him in our family for 14 1/2 years.
He was our first dog and you chose him for us, fostered him near our house, and rang us to say “ we have the perfect dog for you”.
Indeed he was, and we can’t express our thanks to you enough .
He has featured in the CAESSR calendar, much to our delight, and been at the centre of our family . He was also much loved by our local parkrun community, including children otherwise scared of dogs and adults who didn’t like them- except Rocket. He ran over 250 5k runs there.
Our children grew up with him and we all miss him dreadfully. But our hearts are full of gratitude for the wonderful memories he has given us, and to you for giving him to us.
One day, when we have moved house, we will plan to rehome another one, but meantime Rocket is in our hearts and we are so grateful to you.
